30 Minute Daily Walk helps Prevent Diabetes and Age Related Diseases
Dr. James Brown, speaking at the British Science Festival in Birmingham surprised visitors who attended his presentation by presenting a pill. This pill he said can cause a wide range of health benefits including decreasing the risk of type 2 diabetes, decrease the risk of obesity, cancers, anxiety, and depression. He goes further to say it can decrease the risk of hip fractures in the elderly by as much as 40%, slow the progression of Alzheimers disease and protects cognition and more. Then he surprises them by telling them, it is actually not a pill, but a form of exercise-walking, walking 30 min. a day, can have a major impact on the quality of life of seniors. See link below to read the entire article.

LAGNIAPPE SEMINARS OFFERS ONSITE SEMINARS TO FACILITIES AS A WAY OF ASSISTING IN COST SAVINGS, PRODUCTIVITY SAVINGS AND A WAY TO BRING MORE EMPLOYEES TO THE SAME PAGE IN PATIENT CARE
This month, Lagniappe Seminars will travel to   Central Louisiana to provide an onsite seminar to a facility who has realized that it is a way to offer continuing education to their employees and independent contractors at a significant cost savings and at the same time, showing support for their continuing education. Because their employees don't have to travel to a seminar, it saves on productivity, as well. Lagniappe Seminars has been fortunate in order to provide onsite seminars to employees of assistive livings, extended care facilities, home healths, rehabs, hospitals and private clinics. If you would like information regarding having Lagniappe Seminars coming to your facility to provide one of their continuing education seminars to your employees, let us know. Just contact us at info@lagniappeseminars.com
